Industrial Designer
I am a designer that is based in Fort Collins, CO, where I currently work for Xylem Design building custom furnishings and displays. My previous experience was with Lazar Industries as a frame engineer and estimator. My work and experience has brought me in front of many large clients such as Sony Entertainment, Apple, Microsoft, and even Toyota.

Outside of my experience in design and fabrication I was exposed to many manufacturing processes and Industry leaders such as Ritsuo Shingo (President of Toyota China), and Paul Akers (Author of "2 Second Lean"). Through their teachings of Lean and TPS (Toyota production system) I created new processes that saved Xylem 1000's of hours of labor every year and decreased wasteful inventory.

My Education started at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro studying Interior Architecture with a focus on furniture design. I worked on a number of community projects including "My sister House" which was a housing project for single teenage mothers and their children, as well as a new salvation army store focused on renewing its image with a modern take on thrift retail.
After more than 10 years of experience in the industry I continue to find new and interesting problems to solve. With this in mind, I am always on the look out for the next challenging opportunity that will further my knowledge in the field of manufacturering and design.
